With MAIT ModelSearch you are no longer at risk of doing your work twice. It allows PTC Creo CAD and Windchill PLM users to directly compare what they are working on to their whole part database.
This add-on also allows you to find parts that would fit a WIP assembly design, saving time on having to design it again. MAIT ModelSearch has close to 100 parameters that you can tweak to have it behave exactly as you want it to.
This add-on also works when designing live, so you won’t have to manually check, making sure that a potential duplicate is spotted as soon as possible.
Via PTC WindChill, ModelSearch can be used with multiCAD with Catia, Unigraphics and SolidWorks, and Inventor.
